I know this question has been asked many a time, but I'd be rather specific to my scenario.
I'm a mainframe consultant and had a long term dream of entering amazing world of ERP. I've around 5 years of extensive core development experience on mainframes.
Now, I think its time for me to move ahead.
Q1. Can I use my 5 years of mainframe experience in either SAP/Oracle, in any way (if)? If yes, then what way?
Q2. Looking closely, what do you suggest me, either to go for SAP or Oracle with Mainframe background?
Your valuable advice means a lot to me.

Thank you for your time.
